A lovely little café set within a boat with both inside and outside seating along the river. A variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks, sandwiches and cakes available including some gluten and dairy free. A short walk away from Paddington station.

Such a contrast to exit from the bustle of Paddington Station and find yourself on the bank of a canal basin, with moored narrowboats and barges. Bankside walks, frequent bridges, lots of waterside restaurants and bars.

If you leave Paddington Station behind platform s 12 - 14 you can take steps up and you are straight into a magical part of London. At the top fop the steps you are immediately at the canal side and can admire the boots moored there. In late December there was a new restaurant boat that had great food and... More

Paddington under went a huge regeneration in the last decades and if further has huge projects that will transform it massively. The Paddington waterside has been done beautifully too, although people living in the barges do not contribute towards it's cleaning, no wonder the water can be covered completely at certain times of the year. Lots of blocks of flats... More

I like taking the walk from the Paddington station towards Little Venice, along the canal through this lovely area. It gives a bit different perspective of the city...

Looking for something to do that is free, relaxing and different? Just outside of Paddington station, take a walk along the canal to see houseboats, lovely buildings & homes, and bridges. There are sections along the canal with benches to sit & enjoy the view. Do as much or as little as you like.

Walking alongside the river at the Paddington Waterside was a pretty sight, quiet and the folk on the Houseboats were accommodating in greeting you and allowing you to take photos. Some houseboats were specifically decorated enticing you to comment on and take photos of. We an excellent stroll the next morning after a long flight

We were staying in a Paddington hotel and this provided us with the opportunity to become quite familiar with the Paddington area. Early one evening, we took a pleasant stroll along the Paddington Waterside. To access the area, we just needed to walk through Paddington Railway Station and out through the side entrance, adjacent to the taxi rank and we... More

Try to visit outside of weekday rush hours, when others are heading to and from work, and instead find a quieter time to meander along the canal, study the industrial architecture, watch the wildlife, admire the views and generally chill out while getting some gentle exercise. If time and energy permits, you can really go quite a long way in... More
