Plenty of shops to keep you occupied for a while. The smells are amazing. Like all markets however there is a fair bit of tat as well.

A stunning array of flowers and other related items. Do not miss the coffee and thick toast and jam at the small coffee place ( unpretentious and basic) in the middle of the market. Eat like a worker. Soak int he beauty. Go early No tourists so enjoy

Not to get confused with Covent Garden, New Covent Garden is a very interesting place to visit. Although we didnt plan anything, being awake one morning we decided to go. It was closing on Saturday 11.30am and had a lot of stalls which were the same without having the old edge it used to have. Luckily it is so close to street entertainment, transport museum and Opera house etc, loads to peel... More

Had a nice time shopping and having lunch at a great small Italian restaurant. It was the weekend before Christmas and they were serving mulled wine which was so nice on that chilly day. There was a group playing music in the open air restaurant near in the center. Very nice experience.

BLOCKING THE ENTIRE FREAKING STREET! And, hey, it's really busy this time of year. One of... More
