Brilliant introduction to Thai cooking

Excellent introduction to Thai cooking, really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and the resulting food so much better than the stuff the take away delivers!

I went to Food at 52 for an Introduction to Wine Tasting evening and had a really great time. The class was both informative and loads of fun - even though I have done other wine classes in the past I still learned a lot from Ryan and he has a brilliant way of explaining concepts about wine and wine... My husband and I went to Food at 52 for an Italian cooking course last weekend. It was our first cooking course and I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be the most enjoyable and useful experience! We cooked from scratch delicious tagliatelle with pesto, gorgeous chicken with vegetables and fragrant almond biscotti and amareti ice cream... More

After a welcome glass of bubbly in the lovely, quirky reception room, we went down to the kitchen and sat at high stools around a large table, to sample and discuss 6 wines, accompanied by meats, cheeses and nibbles. The tasting was pitched just right, relaxed and entertaining with an interesting selection of wines and a knowledgeable host. A great... More

We had a terrific day learning to fillet fish, deal with squid, prepare prawns and cook 4 delicious dishes which we then had the pleasure of eating! John and Jorge were incredibly helpful in showing how to do things and then supporting us as we all had a go. There was a great atmosphere, very relaxed and we felt we... More

Had a fantastic time at Food at 52 on Saturday 18th March, the fish course was fun, practical, interesting and delicious. John was a great teacher and guided us all through the recipes step by step. Fab food, company and learning. I will be coming back.

Attended Food at 52 fish course on Saturday 18th March (11.00 - 4.30) and had a great time. Nice group of people with a cross section of cooking skills but all to a person were enjoying themselves. John the course leader and his team made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed and the day flew by. Will be going to another... More

This is a heck of a good day out. Fabulous kitchen, supremely good hosts and tutors, wonderful ethos, terrific learning experience... I could go on forever. "Quiet and thin I tiptoed in... happy and stout I ventured out".

I visited this venue as part of a group of 6 consisting of my partner and two other couples. As a food enthusiast, I knew this was going to be for me the minute I entered the premises. The reception area is tastefully decorated with unusual ornaments and furniture that attract the eye and the smell of good food hits... More
