This must have been one of the smallest theatres I've been for a long time. However I loved it. It worked well with the play (Woman In Black) and the plays simplicity. It made the act more realistic and personal. It felt extremely understated...in a...More

I thought the touring production is better as i did not find this production very scary. The two actors were very good. A very small theatre. I found it would be better if it had started at 7.30 instead of 8pm.

My wife and I visited Fortune Theatre to watch The Woman in Black. You will struggle to sit as the seats are too tiny and not a lot of leg space. Avoid the front row seats at the dress circle as you will walk out...More

This was my first experience of watching a play at the theatre and I loved it. The performance was enthralling. You really do have to use your imagination as there are little props/visual effects but the acting is so convincing I found myself drawn in...More

The fortune theatre is a beautiful little theatre, intimate and interesting but beware there is quite limited leg room when seated! Our visit on 13.04.17 commenced with a search of our bags. Understandable in the times we live in although it was very apparent the...More

only 2 actors, well 3 if you count the WIB. scenery was terrible, seriously underfunded production. Give it a miss. Spend more on a ticket to a real west end show.
