Chiswick is a very pleasant and leafy suburb and if you are visiting there are a few things you ought to do. Try and arrange a tour of Fullers Brewery - must be done online and weeks in advance from my experience. If you can't get a tour they have an excellent shop. Chiswick House and grounds are spectacular and... More

Just a little bot outside of the main part of the capital lies Chiswick. near to the river Thames it has a real English "feel" the architecture very pretty and varies in period. There is a brewery you can arrange to visit as well as river walks to stroll along. With many small cafes and places to eat my personnel... More

Stay in Chiswick near fabulous restaurants inc an the affordable Michelin * La Trompet . Easy transport from nearby Turnham Green tube station e.g. 10 mins to South Kensington and the Kings Road or to Richmond Town Centre. There are antique shops, quirky book shops, great coffee bars, all mostly independent and owned by locals. The river is nearby and... More

I used to live in Chiswick and absolutely love it. I still live nearby...but across the river Thames. There are many great places in Chiswick including riverside walks; the main and excellent shopping area and Chiswick House and Park around the house. Chiswick High ROad had many interesting shops but is now outstanding for the excellent restaurants catering for every... More

This is one of my favourite areas of West London. It's got a great feel to it. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants (some independent). I sometimes prefer going to chiswick than travelling into central London.

Chiswick is a lovely place to visit in London W4.There are a lot of independent shops. Noteworthy roads are Turnham Green Terrace and Devonshire road. Lots of little cafes (Tamp, chief and rhythm & brews) and places to eat. Go see Chiswick house which is a 10-15 walk from Chiswick. Hogarth's House is also fantastic. Definitely have a 1-2 day... The food is so delicious. The restaurant has an amazing romantic atmosphere. Staff is very polite, helpful and assisting when choosing the food by explaining the dishes. Great place for a date! You get more than you pay for! Pricing is justified with the quality of the food. I highly recommend!

An amazing area outside central London to be live or be; beautiful, charming streets, friendly and a nice range of independent and chain restaurants on the High Street. If one is looking to live or spend some time west of central London, along with Richmond this is one of the areas.
