Didn't know much about this show in advance, only that it was by the South Park creators. I can't remember the last time I laughed out loud so much! It was so entertaining from start to finish, with some very catching tunes mixed in. There's not many shows that I'd go to see more than once but this is definitely... More

I'm not the biggest fan of musicals (I wasn't fussed by the likes of Wicked, Rent etc) so going into Book of Mormon I was a bit sceptical. Within the first 2 minutes however, I had already changed my mind. The songs are hilarious, cynical and daring. So daring in fact, that it was too much for the couple in... More

I think this may be the best musical I have ever seen. I understand why it won the awards it did. Everything from book to lyrics to music to set was done brilliantly. I have had the songs stuck in my head ever since. The humour is extremely sharp and comic timing exemplary. If you like Avenue Q/South Park this... More

This musical is definitely the worst I've seen and the only one I would recommend skipping. The story starts promising in and funny, but it gets stranger and stranger, even offensive. Maybe I just don't get their humor, but for me it is over the edge.

My partner has been banging on about going to see The Book of Mormon for years, so I finally thought I'd treat him for his birthday and bought a couple of tickets. I had heard great things about the show, and am a fan of South Park, so expected to really enjoy this- but I didn't. The theatre itself is... More

This was an absolutely hysterical musical. The content of the show is brilliantly put together and flows seamlessly. You must have a sense of humor to enjoy this show!

Fantastic show. Great music n tempo. Superb dance move. Witty script. Awesome acting. What else can I say about the show except that's it's wonderful. Come with an open mind and you won't be disappointed. By the creators of South Park so it's not for the faint hearted.

Like other contributors I was a little wary knowing this show came from the creators of South Park as I was never a fan, but this show is amazing!! I laughed until I cried and came out feeling on a real high! Excellent singing dancing acting and humour from start to finish. We sat in the the stalls to the... More

Had high expectation but did not meet any of them. Music is boring; not memorable at all. Diction of some of the cast is very poor. "God will turn you into a .... lesbian" brought the house down. Have not laughed at the word 'lesbian' since I was twelve. Rest of the dialogue is similarly aimed at children. Cannot understand... More

Excellent show, the male ensemble who played the Mormons had so much energy with huge amounts of dancing and singing. Very funny throughout although could be offensive to some people. We had expensive seats in the stalls in row L but he theatre rows aren,t really inclined enough as the couple in front were tall and we had to keep... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
