This was one of those fortuitous visits. I'd past this venue numerous times and thought I must go in, but knowing from the signs outside it was a "Members Only" Club, had never researched enough to do so. However, on this occasion, I was with...More

I am so happy to have found this spot. I heard about the Friday poetry evenings and walked in alone this weekend. I was nervous as it is traditionally a members club, but after paying the 5pound entry fee, I am so happy I did...More

The Society Club is a book store which houses vintage books (rare finds and first edition prints that are limited edition) as well as a very good looking cocktail bar. After hours it becomes a members only affair. There are 2 locations to choose from...More

We visited this place because it was one of the few places in London that accepted dogs! My friend brought her dog and, after being asked to leave several places in London, we googled and found this beautiful place. The staff are utterly amazing -...More

A fantastically unique setting, a bookshop come bar. Knock on the door and you can enter before 6, after that it is a members only club (think it's £125 a year). I would recommend the champagne although pricey it was the eBay I've tasted.

This place is awesome! I am yet to have a better hanky panky elsewhere. The bartenders are skilled and lovely and you're guaranteed to meet interesting people any evening of the week! They have the BEST books on sale too!

I think this is the sort of place people will either love or hate. If you don't like dogs, I wouldn't even step a foot inside the door - fortunately I love them so all the doggies were a big plus for me. We had...More

Initially the dogs were very sweet, and the bookshop-cum-cafe thing was quite cool - but ultimately left a sour taste as the dog kept nipping at us with its tongue lolling around and we were charged an unbelievable, unjustifiable £4.50 for a cup of tea....More

A dog-friendly gallery, bookstore, coffee shop and cocktail bar in Central London - what more can you ask for! A friend had recommended this place because it was dog-friendly so my husband and I met a friend here for a drink. What a lovely, unique...More
