My parents were visiting and I thought I should take them to Ronnie Scott's at the bar upstairs for some Cuban music. When we arrived we were told to queue because the bar was full.We were told that if 5 people would come out,we would go in.This never happened. At least 10 people left but the guy at the door... We went to the bar upstairs on a Friday night. It was abit packed around 930pm already and of course there were no seats left. So we had to buy drinks and stood on the dance floor. The drinks were average and the entrance fee was not cheap but that night they had a Cuban band playing hence great atmosphere... More

Always an amazing atmosphere, great service. Love the music and the cocktails, would advise to book ahead to get the best seats available. Really looking forward to our next visit.

Last night in London I went to Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club to see Humphrey Lyttleton Jazz Band. It was sold out but when I talked to manageress and told her Id seen him with wife Cleo Lane at same venue in 1967, she managed to sit us at best seat in house. The only sad bit was after 4 Numbers... More

Had an awesome eve here a couple weekends ago with the missus. We went to the second bar because students cant afford £40 entry to the main show which was Ruby Turner so we went to the second bar which had an awesome welsh trumpeter with drums, base and a piano. Drinks were pricey but worth it. It was a... More

We were really excited about our visit to Ronnie Scotts, it's such an iconic place and we have walked past it many times over the years, but was our first visit. We were ushered to our 'table', which was really a very short, thin counter that we shared with another couple. Then when you look around you see that the... More

Went with the family for the Sunday lunch show. Humphrey Lyttleton Orchestra and Barry Cryer. Great show, Sunday lunch was well priced and very good. The braised lamb was excellent. Service was good and excellent choice of local craft beers. Well worth a visit, we will be back

What a fantastic night out. No experience like it! So well organised but retains the charm and cool chic expected. Food was great and the "to table" service was excellent, attentive and polite. A fantastic nights entertainment, not to be missed!

First visit and it most definitely won't be our last. We had a fantastic evening. Good food, good wine and most importantly, fantastic music. We were very to see Kanas Smitty's House Band play. They were truly amazing.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
