Effectively between Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace, you'll pass through Admiralty Arch when entering the Mall to walk down towards Buckingham Palace. Certainly an impressive bit of architecture - nothing to rival it in Australia (where I come from)! Don't miss it. On second thoughts,...More

Worth walking or driving by for a quick look and a photo. Lot of other great architecture (eg Trafalgar Square) in the area to complement it. Also worth walking through St James park to the palace from here.

For me there is nothing better, when opportunity permits, than to travel through Westminster and slowly take in and indeed examine each of the iconic edifices for which the city is known and about which it can be so proud. This is a perfect example...More

This is a must see in London and more importantly the gateway towards Buckingham Palace, lots of history and lots of detail in its structure. I went at the Trooping of the colour and it was decorated with St George flags, gorgeous! Once through there...More

On our way to Buckingham Palace, we couldn't help but admire the Admiralty Arch which is at the entrance to the Mall. It's huge, and quite impressive. It was a nice introduction before we reached the palace as it gave us a taste of the...More

We almost missed noticing it, weird as it sounds. So engrossed were we navigating with maps on our phones that we did't realize passing under it. Only when we got on The Mall and looked back did we appreciate the true enormity and grandeur of...More

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
