This was the Duke of Wellington's House he bought mainly for displaying his vast collection of paintings. This house is beautifully furnished with magnificent items that really must be seen and admired. Everyone should make a visit here.

Visited as a member of English Heritage. Received a warm welcome from staff. Enjoyed an interesting visit through the audio guide. Plenty of seats to sit on throughout and not too busy.

The home is very interesting to see if in the area the rooms are well laid out with an audio guide so you can move around at you own pace there are knowledgeable guides around so you can stop one and ask questions if needed

History, fascinating and interesting Duke of Wellington and defeat of Napoleon. Beautiful building and home, filled with old master paintings. The audio visual tape was excellent and easy to follow, very interesting and enjoyable

Apsley house and the Wellington arch are just across a street from each other but are seperate attractions and tickets. The arch is inexpensive and has a small museum and a nice view at the top. You can see photos from my... More
