Extensive.

The heritage building with its four chimneys has been restored very tastefully and stand sentry over the growing housing development.

We went to the BPS by bus from Waterloo. It was not easy, but was done with a transfer. We were curious because a great deal of money has gone into the area. There are new glass apartment buildings currently occupied. The old BPS is gated and the area is construction central. It will take years before the area is... More

This building, beautiful though it may be has essentially been left to rot in the last 35years.So many plans have come and gone. You see it every time you are on the train from Victoria Station going South just after you cross the Thames, looking rather gaunt.I hope that it will finally be developed in a fitting way.

These two coal-fired power stations, built in 1930, were among the largest brick buildings in the world. It became an iconic building due to its numerous references in the popular culture, such is the cover of Pink Floyd’s album Animals from 1977. There is not much left from those times, it is a poor sight to see...

The apartments were all sold off plan to mainly offshore investors but l can't wait for the site to reopen to the public and see what the architects have done with the interior. The large chimneys are being refurbished which is why they aren't all visible at present but will be up when completed. The glass frontage on the apartment... More

This is such an iconic building, it has appeared on album covers. Sadly what thy are doing to the area to make it a shopping area surrounded by trendy apartments is tragic but that's supposedly progress for you. Not many people know this but the power station was never bombed in the second world war due to the fact that... More

Landmark!? More like an eyesore! I knew Battersea was industrial but not quite to this level! Lot's of developments going on around the powerstation which didn't help for a start but three out of four of the chimneys had been taken down, it looked so different - so much so that it was unrecognisable and we didn't even know if... this was a landmark of london, the south side and how the separation between classes. however, now its the same price as central london. the area is booming now, and the new American embassy and the new property development has pushed the area to mayfair standard and prices. its a must see to beleive now, i was shocked at the... If your visiting it, you're undoubtedly a Pink Floyd fan. Sadly you can't get within 100 yards of the building as they're redoing the whole area as a condo area.
