Kids farm

Its well worth giving a donation for all the work they carry out and seeing the animals such as cows and pigs.

Tucked in the borough of Tower Hamlet is a little working farm. The farm has the usual complement of farm animals: chickens (running loose in the yard), rabbits, a pair of donkeys, a pair of pigs, and such. Little kids will love it, adults will be bored quickly. The farm has a lot of character for a working farm--many of... More

Good to visit with family. Busy during weekends but nice to see the animals and hang around. Good for a weekend trip.

Visited here along with two five year olds. The farms rather small, chickens roam free which is nice but other than that you'll only find a few Guinea pigs, a couple of rabbits, one pig, two donkeys and a pair of goats (at least this is all that was there during our visit). There's no opportunity to pet or feed... More

I have read reviews on here about Hackney Farm and can see some very mixed opinions. I believe it's all about expectation, for a farm in the city that is free to visit my expectation wouldn't be the same as a farm in the country I would pay £40 (family) to visit. We visited Hackney Farm yesterday, we decided to... More

It was great to see the animals and a lovely old guy showed us round. We are on a low income and a tight budget and we were shocked by the high prices of the food. It was also poorly run on the day we were there. the only other people in the cafe were very affluent mums with their... More

Place clearly lacked any kind of TLC. Outside toilet terrible. A few chickens in the yard, not a single member of staff to be seen anywhere. Sheep were in a dark horrible shed. Avoid this place, it's not a proper city farm.

We visited the farm on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed it. The chickens roaming free excited my little girl and the nearby park is also lovely for a stroll. If your looking to spend a couple of hours out then definitely pay a visit to this farm.
