a good old fashioned pub festooned with plenty of character, an interesting clientele mix, good selection of beers and oodles of atmosphere. Traditional décor, unspoilt by trends or fashion. Order a pint of Youngs Special and I defy the first one to last more than five minutes...

Came after interesting visit to the British Museum. Have been here many times, sometimes just for drinks, sometimes for a snack lunch, sometimes for Sunday lunch with visitors from abroad. It has never failed to please. Lovely, quiet atmosphere, beautiful etched glass panes around the bar. Staff always friendly. This time had doorstep sandwiches, which were very good. Husband always... We had the best pub lunch at The Lamb. Draught beer selection was excellent, sandwiches of British ham, cheese and chutney were delicious, and the home-made vegetable crisps were a real treat. This pub is not to be missed! It's a traditional old pub, beautiful historic decor and frequented mostly by locals. A warm and welcoming ambience. Highly recommended.

There's nothing gastropub about the Lamb. It's a good old fashioned boozer, with a historic twist. The walls are covered with photographs of the leading artists of the Music Hall Era in late Victorian times in the UK. My grandmother's picture is there, but it seems there's always someone sitting at the table in front of her! A good selection... More

Good price for some delicious fish n chips and a pint. Nice guy at the bar. I definitely suggest you stop by if you're in the area.

The pub is cosy and look very traditional. Normally go for drinks after work and dinner couple of times. I normally have the burger and it looks and taste good. The 3 bubbles I am giving is due that I was disappointment by the fact if you sitting upstairs your are not allowed to order food downstairs. Very odd as... More

First time I have visited for probably 30 years it seemed that nothing had changed - good beer, good service as Youngs pubs always were.

The Lamb is a traditional pub serving a good selection of beers. Doorstep sandwiches were very tasty and the landlord was friendly and helpful. A great pub for drinks and/or a bite to eat.

Stopped by for lunch and a few drinks. The food was excellent, the beer nice and the staff very friendly. When you add that this is a genuine old London pub with lots of character there is nothing more to add than please pay this pub a visit. It is well worth it.

Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions.
