We love the Princess Louise. Great value for money and always a nice crowd in this traditional grade II listed Victorian pub. We like sitting in the booths around the island bar and taking in the jovial atmosphere. The organic lager and chocolate stout are just fabulous! beware - the toilets are not for the faint-hearted (even the ladies seriously... More

The Princess Louise is the second best pub in London, right behind its brother, The Red Lion on Kingly Court. Best beers in London, best atmosphere in London. 2nd best pub in London!

No nonsense here - decent beer, not too expensive, lots of wood, glass and brass. The toilets are listed and worth the visit alone. Support your proper boozers and give this place a try.

One of the few pubs in central London where you can have a beer for less than 4£, lovely style, many different choices of beer and cider, you won't find the normal brands we are use to. Gin tonic 3,25£. Amazing pub to pop in while you are enjoying the city.

Have been to this Samuel Smith pub a couple of times over the years; it's a true classic! The layout of the bar is unique and timeless. Definition worth a visit if you want a true old London pub experience. You won't have the gastro-pub shine & gloss; that's not what the Princess Louise is about

A well preserved Victorian pub. The interior is impressive and the beer choices are limited but still the experience is pleasant and the lack of tourists make it a more intimate.

Love this pub for a drink. Great inside with booths to have a private drink with some friends. Great prices and friendly staff.

I have been coming here for years and not once have I ever had a bad experience, The design is one that was not uncommon in the 1870s when the pub was built (1872), but the calibre of the detailing and the care with which it has been preserved make it stand out for all the best reasons. The pub... More
