One of the few pubs in central London where you can have a beer for less than 4£, lovely style, many different choices of beer and cider, you won't find the normal brands we are use to. Gin tonic 3,25£. Amazing pub to pop in while you are enjoying the city.

Have been to this Samuel Smith pub a couple of times over the years; it's a true classic! The layout of the bar is unique and timeless. Definition worth a visit if you want a true old London pub experience. You won't have the gastro-pub shine & gloss; that's not what the Princess Louise is about

A well preserved Victorian pub. The interior is impressive and the beer choices are limited but still the experience is pleasant and the lack of tourists make it a more intimate.

I have been coming here for years and not once have I ever had a bad experience, The design is one that was not uncommon in the 1870s when the pub was built (1872), but the calibre of the detailing and the care with which it has been preserved make it stand out for all the best reasons. The pub... More

Excellent! Lovely people taking care of us... a family with 3 children. the food was delicious!we admired the calm of the manager who has had to deal with a group of disgruntled people. A group of 40 people who reserved for 20, oups...

This is a great pub completely devoid of any pretentiousness, marketing concepts or attempts to rip you off. Very good Sam Smiths bitter at only £3.10 a pint in the middle of London! If you are out on a session you can combine a visit here with Smith's City of Yorke over the road and Wetherspoons round the corner for... More
