Beware ! There are some very helpful staff but there are also some thoroughly UNSCRUPULOUS ones too. On Saturday we bought a table for £50 - it was great value as we have bought the same item for 3 times the price before. We agreed to pick it up later in the day. When I returned it was packed and... Went into Habitat on Tottenham Court Road with the intention of buying an item of furniture that I previously seen on their website. Stood there for ages while the staff (in a practically empty shop) talked to each other and ignored me. Eventually I managed to speak to a member of staff who actually rolled her eyes at being asked... More

The online products are nice and of good quality, but customer service is poor. Whenever I call to speak to customer service, I'm held on the phone for hours, and can't speak to anyone. The collection that was finally scheduled was not met, so still left with unwanted products. Would not buy from them again, I'll stick to John Lewis... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
