How this place claims to be for film lovers is beyond me. Two tickets - £31, fine, it's London after all. Preview screening of 'Moonlight', again great, a film we were both very keen to see and a Valentines day treat. So, why the one star review? The screening was ruined by two things. 1. Late entrants - up to... More

An oasis right in the centre of London. A fantastic cinema for people who know how to behave in a cinema. A opportunity to see less mainstream films on a big screen. Nice little bar too that's worth linger in at. A safe space for movie fans.

Bill £ £47.65. Order 1 bottle of NZ Sauvignon blanc. 1 popcorn. 1 pint Peroni. 1 Punkdog IPS ( small bottle ). Appears very expensive for what was ordered. Filled in the query form on their website ( twice ) enquiring if a mistake was made, but system administrator report twice revealed not deliverable. Don't like getting rinsed. Used to... More

If Tom Ford's movie does not win an Oscar- there is simply no taste, nor, justice in this world! What a perfect setting to watch such a powerful film; I was gripped from start to finish; I loved it and best film of 2017 so far, for me. Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal are perfectly cast as the 2 leads... More

The staff always make or break an attraction - in this case the friendliness of the staff was fantastic. On getting tickets (included with a London pass) the chap behind the counter was helpful and friendly. On returning later and speaking to an oriental lady behind the bar, she was delightful - chatty, friendly and attentive. The girls downstairs collecting... More

On a rainy Sunday evening, we caught "Everybody Wants Some," a funny movie about the week before college starts and the adventures of a baseball team. The theatre was maybe 10% filled but the seats were comfortable and it was nice to be able to enjoy a glass of bubbly with our average popcorn.

This is a great venue - good bars and meeting spaces as well as excellent auditoria for films . It is well sited and very much a cultural treasure in the centre of town . Sadly it is under threat from a large development project - so without a strong campaign it may disappear . It would be a great... More

Always got something on here that you'd never find in the blockbuster cinemas and located right between Soho and ChinaTown.

The Arthouse theatres have good sound and seat elevation. Good choice of films showing. The dining experience was pleasant with a good bar and tucker.

Cafe had an excellent salad baguette/crisps and drink for £5 before the film. Good sightlines in larger screen despite subdivision of the old Columbia auditorium, itself a list war basement cinema standing on the bomb site of its predecessor. I hope the campaign to keep it is successful.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
