Great little spot in Padington

Stayed a block away on our London visit and came here everyday for at least a pint. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere was pleasant. Great little local spot.

Ok pub in Paddington. Staff was friendly, even if it was very busy that evening. They have a wide range of beers, including 4 cask ales. Unfortunately the cask ales comes from Greene King, not a very good brewery. I did not eat, but the food looked good, and should I end up back here, it would include food :)

Great pub & real ale selection! But have no idea how to pour it??? Served like a Fosters! Tried to point it out but was fobbed off by bar staff!! This is a quick win! Don't be put off too much! Nice stop off!

It's one of the cosy pubs in London. Located close to Paddington station it's worth a visit. Pubfood is great, try the cheese macarony.... Nice beer choice as well and the outside smokingplace is heated with heating lamps. I would go again, a nice place to hang around

I visited The Sawyers Arms for a quick pint while walking by. You can reach the property just a block away from Paddington Station. The staff members were extremely friendly and gave recommendations for beers to taste. The beer selection in pumps is versatile. The pub was very crowded even in Wednesday evening. When ordering food, please take note on... More

Food took 45 minutes to arrive. Steak was dry, fries were soggy, salad consisted of a few (not fresh) green leaves and a small tomato. They forgot to include the sauce that goes with the steak. With the slow service we didn't even bother trying to ask for it as it likely would have arrived after we had already finished.

I met friends here as it's close to Paddington station and we work in various parts of the city. The bar upstairs has a dining area and is less crowded. The service was good, though the prices were a little steep (then again, it is near Paddington, so not extortionate for the area). There is a great atmosphere and a... More

This is an excellent little pub tucked away down a Paddington side road, but well worth rooting out. Besides boasting an excellent selection of beers and ales, they also serve food, which seems very popular (not having tried the food first hand). As with most pubs nowadays, they have a small seating area outside (for the smokers), with customer-controlled heating!... More

Located really near to Paddington station is a very practical option to have a pint or two. Good atmosphere, excellent taste in music (90's teen here), and a decent fish 'n chips. We were there at the end of October and the disguised staff was friendly and festive. We will come back whenever staying at Paddington!
