As a cast member at the Olympics 2012 I walked past this thing every day for 6 weeks. It wasn't open when we were rehearsing and so on my return to London the other week I went to the Olympic park to see what changes...More

This expensive attraction gives you a bird's-eye view of some of the least attractive parts of London and distant views of some of the best parts. West Ham supporters may be interested in the progress with stadium, but otherwise I wouldn't bother. Interactive video guide...More

Glad to see Orbit is still being fully used after the London Olympic Games. The slide looks really scary but fun for the brave.. as you can tell I didn’t have a go! £12.50 gets you up the top to the viewing deck. When we...More

I was lucky enough to get a trip up the Orbit for a work event. Even better, the event included a ride down 'The Slide'. Thankfully I was the second person in the queue for the slide because they closed it for the rest of...More

This fantastic piece of commemorative art on the South Lawn at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was impressive, powerful and extremely moving. Unfortunately from the various tube stations around, especially Hackney Wick there were no signs to guide people to find the place, and it is...More

Wanted to go to the Olympic Park to view the fantastic 'Shrouds of the Somme' remembrance installation and decided before we went to book a trip up the ArcelorMittal Orbit while we were there. As it was a lovely day, the views all around were...More

Came to see the fireworks in the distance, but was bowled over by the beauty of London by night. It's a great view, which, combined with being dry and warm made this a lovely experience

There is a gift shop at the bottom end of the slide where you collect/purchase the pictures from. You should contact them to see if it's still possible to purchase
