It was called ‘a cosy place’ but I have to say, I found it quite austere! It is a grand house where you can imagine life both upstairs for the gentry and below stairs for the servants.

Great walks but the hall was closed when we visited. Be warned whilst the walks are really lovely, you will most likely end up with rather grubby faithful companions (the four legged variety). Bath job for our lot.

It's a long walk - up hill. From the centre of town follow signs to Fakenham. Shortly after leaving houses of Cromer take Lh at roundabout signposted for Felbrigg. No footpath now. Approx 5 min walk to gates. But probably... More

Hi Dawn. This will depend on how long you wish to spend in the house and gardens, but I would suggest between 90 minutes and 2 hours. I hope you enjoy your visit.

Hope this is true would be great if dog friendly And NB previous answer is wrong There is NO law against dogs in restaurants !!!
