What a lovely day here and so much to see. The castle keep, dungeons and roof walk plus the museum stuffed with so much history an art gallery etc. Filled the day, quite expensive but overall was value for money given that you can spend the day here easily and we did. Nice cafe and all the normal services you would... More

The Norwich Castle museum is perfect for children and families. It can be fun for adults too, just don't expect to spend as much time exploring the museum as compared with the entrance fee; the museum is more oriented towards children, families, and school trips. They have an excellent collection of artefacts related to local history alongside natural history exhibits.... More

Varied activities in most of the areas of the castle. Lots to keep the children focused and learning from the Egyptians through the ages to the Royal Anglians. It was a great afternoon session and so much going on we could have stayed for longer.

My wife and I go to Norwich two or three times a year and, although we know the museum well, we still like to go round again and there are usually special exhibitions to interest us. The curators are adept at making their displays attractive to young people which bodes well for the future. My favourite display is the small... More

Went here on a lovely afternoon with my partner to explore some of the history of Norwich. Norwich castle was very overpriced for what it was and completely child orientated. We also paid for the rooftop tour which was not good at all. We could not hear the tour guide and when we told him we couldn't hear he did... More

I love taking my grand kids to the castle they are always in awe of all the things to see. My grandson went with his school to see the Egypt display and all the kids love it.

I took him to a Rowdy Roman event which was a great day out for him and his granddad. Lots of things to take part in and we enjoyed a lovely lunch from the cafe.

Very sad access is serious restricted and denied to many especially children due to not only charging but extortionately expensive. Denying many access to their history, learning from it, broadening their horizons, giving then opportunities and a massive false economy as children's interest will not be created and simulated to preserve the past nor any museums.
