The range of exhibits in the Castle Museum is fantastic. There is something for everyone, and something for you to come back time and time again. The dioramas appeal to young children but the teapot collection, art and so much more will appeal to adults.

Really interesting and varied attraction - lots to see and do. Deceptively large - we didn't expect to be there as long as we were! We were particularly interested by the gaol and the castle itself. A really interesting place which is well run.

Although we live nearby not been here for years. We took our two 5 year old grand daughters to see the dolls house exhibition. It was wonderful, we all really enjoyed it especially me as I always wanted a dolls house and never had one. The rest of the exhibits are really interesting even for the girls. A very nice... More

One of the best museums you can visit. You can see everything you would want to. It's not like the very large ones in London not that its small. There is lots of the history of Norfolk in paintings and displays. There is often a something special on, at the moment it is dolls houses. There is a fine display... More

Have visited this museum many times and it has always proved to be a lovely day out. The last time we went we went on the Dungeon Tour; there was a seperate cost for this but it was great! The tour was interesting and the guide was very informative.

Not much of a Castle really, more an extremely large, and varied, museum. Well set out with loads to see and do. My wife and I popped in for a short while and really enjoyed the experience. The £8.80 charge was reasonable given a vast amount to admire. All in all, a lovely way to pass a few hours.

We loved Norwich Castle, there was so much to see and do we literally spent hours there! The Great Hall is spectacular, and as it was Easter when we visited there were loads of activities for the kids going on (free). We went on a guided tour of the dungeons (extra cost) which was really interesting and enlightening and the... More

Norwich Castle is a good mixture of local museum and all-round family events. Look out for the informative history event days where figures from history take kids through aspects of daily life - we went on the Roman day and learnt about ablutions, makeup and food from the period. Interest for adults too in the detailed prison -life exhibition beneath... More
