Good drop in cafe near the market square.

For coffee and cake before we did the escape room in the dungeon below The Guildhall this was perfect. The room is clean & well decorated and hints at its past use. It's just at... read more

This is an iconic Norwich building having housed a prison, Magistrates Courts, a police station and also holds the office of the Sheriff of Norwich. Love it.

Those of you who never came to the old Caley's, well, that is missed.. went here for first time for years as moved out of the city a few years back, the hot drinks are not a patch on the old Chocolate Manufacturer's café, can you imagine how good the Mocha used to be here, now it's a frothy milk... We always visit the guildhall but I also love to stand and just look at it! It's a beautiful building, extremely historic and houses many different things! We always love the crystal shop but there is also other parts open to the public.

I popped into the café as it was near to my work. The whole space has had a lovely re decorate it felt lighter, brighter and friendlier. I ordered a ploughman's and dark hot chocolate. The food was presented on a wooden board, loads of cheese, pickles and really lovely bread. There was a token salad on the side. Hot... More

We booked the Guildhall for our evening party after our wedding at another venue in the city earlier. The Cafe provided the Buffet and we provided the contents of the bar. We had a live band and we catered for 100 guests. We can only say, based on the feedback from our guests, what a fantastic night. The food was... More

This cafe - now a Britannia Cafe is in a great venue with loads of history and character - the cafe used to be a court and much of the "court layout" is still there. It was previously Caleys tea room and closed for whatever reason - based on the service we experienced this will be closing soon too. Four... More

I popped into the Guildhall when walking from the Market to the Lanes. The building is lovely if you lke Victotian Gothic but the cafe did not attract me and so I moved on.
