A regeneration project is currently occurring with king street so in the next few years is should be as good as it once was.

When I last wrote about King Street in Norwich I gave an honest report on my experience there, having worked in the locality for over 35 years. Unfortunately the review upset some people which was not my intention. For this I apologise. While most of the historical facts in the original review are true and a matter of local history,... This is a historic street in Norwich. There are a few old buildings along here and there is dragon hall, a old trades guild / merchants house near to the one end. There is not much else to report.

Having stayed here (with my building bordering the road and the street clearly visible), I think Its a good place to live/ have a walk even if you have come for a couple of days to see Norwich. It gives you a glimpse of how difficult life was during WW2 time, the walls have painted the pictures reflecting these. It... More

King street once a bit of a 'red light' area in the city has a long and interesting history. Plaques on walls help bring this to life but if history isn't your thing there really isn't a great deal of reason to go. There are though some food outlets if you find yourself there.

I find this to be an exciting street because of all the wonderful architecture to be found along it. It runs from Bracondale to Tombland and was, in medieval times, the most important commercial and residential street in the city. Today it still retains many historical buildings, including the half-timbered Dragons Hall and three churches. Some parts have sadly been... More

Its a pedestrianised street with some older buildings. Really cant see why its listed as an attraction. Nothing wrong with it but there are lots of interseting things to do in norwich if you are planning a trip

An interesting and historic street leading from near Carrow Road into the centre of Norwich City. Varied architecture from Victorian Terraces, Merchant Houses, converted Riverside Mills, that have become sought after homes, and ancient buildings like Dragon Hall. Part driveable, part pedestrianized. Easy access to the River Wensum, Riverside shopping and entertainment and leads straight to Tombland and Elm Hill.

Hate going down this street, I lived in or which for 20 years and it was always somewhere to avoid. It's dirty with a horrible feel to it, most buildings are empty and boarded up
