Visited on Friday 28th of April with my Dad for the 70s weekend! The show was great and we both throughly enjoyed it! We got a drink in the bar first and found the prices reasonable (large lime & lemonade and a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale £6) one massive positive was the seats they were really comfy and the... Spacious venue with a great light/sound/stage setup, decent bar prices (especially during Happy Hour) and some very tasty snacks available from the café too. Have been coming back for fifteen years now- here's to the next fifteen!

We went to see Showaddywaddy at the Pavillion, Brassed Off was on at the same time & there was just not enough staff on duty. The house lights were not turned off until halfway through the set & this showed no respect to the artists. The ceiling tiles were ready to fall down & the whole demeanour of the place... More

We attended the Ballroom in the Pavilion for a dancing competition. As ever, the staff were friendly, toilets clean and the drinks were served reasonably speedily.

This is the first time we have visited the pavilion, we looked around the indoor car boot ,bought a few oddments & then decided to have a cup of tea. We were pleased to find dogs are allowed, the lady serving was very jolly., tea was nice & the scones were enormous. We sat looking out to sea it was... More

We decided to do the afternoon tea dance in the Pavillion. Now we don't dance although Ann takes lessons in advanced Fox Trot but did not have a partner with her to show off her moves. In fact all three of us were partnerless but it didn't matter. Sitting at our table watching other couples glide around the ballroom wearing... More

This quick visit had all the hallmarks of an interesting look around this amazing building, part old, part new, with a spectacular view over the sea. On arrival we were greeted by a rather gruff man leaning against the reception asking us what we wanted. Well.. we wanted coffees, not the start of an interrogation. He did however show us... More

The Pavilion is ideally placed looking over the sea on Westcliff Whitby. Our most recent visit was to see a cinema showing of Star Wars Rogue 1. We find the Pavilion a very friendly place as it uses many volunteers to supervise and has facilities and events for all ages. The cafe allows dogs and because of that we started... More

We went to a show on a Saturday afternoon and decided to have a snack lunch in the cafe. The bacon sandwiches were excellent, the coffee good, the staff friendly and the venue was clean and tidy. And the show afterwards was pretty good too!

I spent a lovely few hours away from the crowds at the Pavilion on the 31st of December. The staff were very accommodating towards me and my lactose intolerant French bulldog "Claude". We enjoyed a perfect cup of tea, a tasty sandwich and packet of polo mints while enjoying a brilliant view of the beach and pier in the relative... More
