A really great little museum which brings to life the voyages of James Cook. The volunteers are so knowledgeable about this important historical figure and the displays are magic.

This was a great day out the boys really enjoyed it. Lots to do and see. It's nice for all ages. Nice little things for kids to buy too.

The museum is located in Pannett Park. There is a lot to see. The entrance price comes with a free 1 year entry pass so opportunities exist for a return visit .. time permitting of course. There is a small cafe in the lower ground...More

Eclectic mix of interesting artefacts,although we visited with older kids we have taken younger ones who found the dinosaurs fab. Cafe is brilliant even provide " toybags" to borrow which kept the tinies engaged whilst waiting for food. Outside of course is the attractive Pannett...More

Thank you for your enquiry. I'm afraid only support dogs are allowed in the museum & surrounding Pannett Park.

Yes it i, through the door at the car park. Use the buzzer and they will open the door.
