Nice place for park visitors, and on this occasion I came here as this was the venue of the Roman festival and it was especially busy given the buzz of festival goers. Pleasant on a normal day, but carnival on a busy day. Not to...More

Had a walk through here at half term - watch out for the cheeky squirrels who know no fear. Such a beautiful well kept area

Make sure to take your camera with you as this place is amazing. Not only may you walk through but actually enjoy all the different, various parts of the park. Unless it's raining, you shall definitely go for it.

Nice to have a wander especially overlooking the river ouse. I imagine they are a popular picnic spot although we went in the snow!

The museum gardens are the best place to stay out at York. You can bring your food and just enjoy them sitting on the park, watching the pigeons, chimpmunks, etc... In the sunny days is the perfect place to enjoy outside.

Lovely small and quiet park near to the centre of York which we found by accident walking from our hotel into town. Also in the park grounds to see is the ruins of St Mary's Abbey and the Yorkshire Museum.

Over £60 for my family to slip our way around a rip off experience which had illuminations sponsored by confectioners? Dismal and poor throughout. The girl on the interactive feature, playing Some bells, looked like a hostage, and not a happy one. Selling a snack...More
