This is a stunning place. The windows are beautiful, and there is so much to take in everywhere you look. The ceiling is impressive. The Chapter House is well worth seeing.. Really enjoyed my visit.

This is my favorite. The ivory stone just seems to glow from within. You can take your time in here or just sit and enjoy the beauty and the peace. It is a working church, but groups respected that.

Excellent guided tour. This is a must for anyone visiting York. Stunning as expected. The building spans many years of British history.

So much has been said about the Minster that it is hardly worth adding words other than to say it is a place worthy of visiting time and time again- majestic and magical, inspiring and silent, inviting and alluring

There are at least 4 services every day. Details are on the Minster's website but evensong at 5.15 on weekdays, usually with the choir, is very popular.
