This year's wonderland seems better, more variety of food stalls - always a good thing! I had a currywurst and chips from the chip house and the sausage was chopped into pieces and covered in sauce as they do it in Germany. We did notice several things were more expensive than at the Birmingham Christmas market.

The market square throughout the year has many activities going on from the winter wonderland through to sports event and cultural displays The location of the square in the centre of the town is perfect for such events

We visited yesterday, and it truly gets you in the Christmas spirit. They have designed the houses really well, so they have a snow effect top. There is a range of shops, which stock a variety of things from necklaces to Christmas decorations. There is also three bars to chose from. They feature Christmas drinks. Like mulled wine etc. Worth... More

It's been several years since we visited the xmas market in Nottingham and we are pleasantly surprised. It is a vibrant nice place to visit and well worth the time to get there

It's a tourist trap, but so what? I went when the Christmas season just kicked off. A skating rink with skate rentals surrounded the huge decorated tree. Candies, hot cocoa, and sweets lined the circumference of the frozen play ground. Games to play , kiddie rides and shopping extended from the center. It was busy, congestion, and fun.

The Christmas market adds a gorgeous, cheerful charm to an already charming and lively square. There are all kinds of pubs, shops, and restaurants around that it's hard to NOT find what you're looking for! I absolutely love this place.

It would have been much nicer if the construction was not going on, but still was enjoyable to hang out over there.

We had a lovely look around the Christmas market and then visited the Ice Bar which was lots of fun. Drinks were served in ice shot glasses and there are sculptures inside. We had booked for 2.30 but as people were coming out early from the previous slot, we went in early, so if you've booked maybe get there a... More

It's great to have a lively place at the centre of a city and there is always something going on in the Market Square, even if it's just the every day fountains. We have had to run to Primark for dry clothes many times after impromtu wet play. There is the summer beach, winter markets and ice skating and its... More
