As per usual the plays that are on are very good quality performances but is suggest avoiding the drinks and nibbles. But then again it is not a restaurant but a theatre so go there to enjoy the show.

Really looked forward to the annual trip to the Playhouse Panto. Again we were not disappointed, and a lovely time was had by the whole family. Avoided drinks, as from experience there either aren't any or they are poor quality. The ice-cream was good, but...More

This play house is well designed. The seating is well spaced so that noone' s view is obscured. We had to sort our tickets out with the booking desk and they were really helpful. We saw a great pantomime and were really impressed not just...More

Most of the time when you think of entertainment in Nottingham is the Theatre Royal and Concert Hall, but spare some notice for the playhouse, lovely location, great bar and fantastic venue that deserves your time especially at panto season, oh yes you will.

We go every year to the panto at the playhouse and it’s great. Everyone on stage is really talented along with the musicians. It’s soo much fun and you’re guaranteed to be laughing throughout. Suitable for any age group. Loved it!

Brilliant panto as usual. Oh no it wasn't. Oh yes it was. The kids thought it was awesome. We were right up on top at the back. Great view but no good if you don't like heights. Brilliant, brilliant time had by all.

Brilliant Robin Hood panto. A tried and tested formula of family fun with no stars' egos to satisfy, just good, solid professionals. The singing and dancing was excellent, plenty of audience participation and a proper villain. It knocks the Theatre Royal Peter Pan into a...More

The theatre puts on some great stuff but the tiers in the circle are SO steep, and the seats are so close together, do not book the circle if you are prone to vertigo!

Hi, central seats are the best. Aisle seats if you can. No bad seats in the house though
