Enjoyable walk

Took in a walk around the park whilst staying in the nearby Orchard hotel. Nicely laid out and spotted a fair degree of wildlife. Very enjoyable.

I have visited here many times since the trams have arrived it's a little more tricky to enter the park as you can only do this from one side of the road and there isn't a lot of parking unless you park in the uni. There is a large playground which is nice and a large boating lake were you... More

Brilliant day out. Lots of space to run around. Art gallery on site. Boating lake too. Great cafe. Reasonable prices. Great play park. The adults like it as much as the kids. Also bring my school kids here. Very popular with all ages. A walk around the lake is nice and a cup of tea and a cake. Can't beat... More

Plenty to keep youngsters busy spotting wildlife at all times of year, including Egyptian geese. A good place to hold a tree party, see a waterfall and feed the cygnets. Also, good in Spring when the Azaleas and Cherry trees are in flower. Both sides of the lake are wonderful but try to see the sandstone outcrop.

Of all the years I've lived in Nottingham I'd never been here before. What a lovely place. Straight off the tram to a nice sized park my kids loved. Could of done with a few more picnic benches but other than that it was good. Nice walk around the boating lake with an ice cream from the ice cream van... More
