Highfields provides a nice setting for a walk around the boating lake - ideal for couples, groups of friends or families. There is also the Lakeside cafe which serves coffees and lunch.

Do yourself a favour and hop on a tram from the city and have a morning or afternoon in Highfields Park. It has everything, walks, lakes, fauna, flora a posh hotel if you walk far enough in and Notts Uni too. There was even an...More

Lovely setting with very large lake and plenty of walks great cafe tennis courts bowling greens we are over 70 years old and have been going to use the boating lake for over 50years it's easy to get to by bus or tram

we visited first time, at University area it was nice and clean, unfortunately at picnic and playgrounds area bins was full, and people left a lots of rubbish behind. Do not blame Highfield's-blame people who cannot take their rubbish with themselves. Shame. Walking area and...More

We walked the park on both days of our weekend away. A lovely way spend a few hours. The tram stops outside the park so easy to get to. Café and ice cream van also on site !

This is a place to bring the family. There is a good play park for kids, with plenty to go at for them. A boating lake when it's fair weather to go on, along with nice walks around the lake. There's a café to buy...More

The cafe and arts centre have disabled access and the high fields park area and lakeside have suitable paths for wheelchair users!
