Great venue

I recently went to a concert at Rock City (FYI Lucy Spraggan.... AMAZING!) It is a spacious venue with upstairs areas as well as down. Doubles up as a nightclub so floors slightly... read more

I've been to Rock City 3 times now to see metal bands, first Meshuggah, then Trivium and just recently the Devin Townsend Project. The staff were all really cool, the venue is really nice and I would go there again and again and again.

Friendly staff, reasonable drink prices, clean toilets and a quick exit via emergency fire doors. I haven't been here for years but was pleasantly surprised at how much it changed. Before the gig on the main stage I paid a quick visit to The Rig which is a smaller stage at the venue - really like what you've done with... More

The Stranglers rolled back the years with a superb performance at the outstanding Rock City. A band I first saw in 1977 have aged well and played countless great songs

Really good venue to see music. There are 3 levels to choose from so you can usually find somewhere to stand where you get a decent view of the band. Some areas get really packed so it is worth walking round to find somewhere else to stand. The atmosphere is great too. Drinks are expensive but service is quick considering... More

Security weren't very good, with the band have equipment stolen they weren't doing their job. Security inside the venue were lacking, a gig up and downstairs in the venue meant a busy night, however when sum 41 came onstage you could easily go upstairs and watch their set prior to the headline in the basement coming onstage! very disappointing! but... This place is like a second home to me. Absolutely love all its different rooms and drink choice. The music they play is on point. Brilliant night out for young adults.

I used to visit Rock City regularly but don't live close enough anymore. When I saw Peter Hook was playing, it was a great opportunity to visit again. Peter Hook was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing - I was right down the front and the crowd was jumping and dancing throughout and it was a really friendly, fun atmosphere... More
