We took this tour on April 13th. before we set out to explore Oxford. Our tour guide, Stuart, was very knowledgeable about the colleges we visited and about Oxford and its history. After this tour we were able to better appreciate the sites and especially the colleges we visited on our own. Stuart, our guide, even put us in contact... More

We chose this walking tour purely on price. We had Swedish visitors who didn't know Oxford; we ourselves moved here relatively recently. So the tour needed to be eclectic... and did not disappoint. Our guide, Simon, gave fascinating background and detail to enhance what we were visiting. As we were the only 4 in our group, the tour was particularly... More

52 students and 6 teachers of Da Vinci College, The Netherlands, did a group tour with three of the OWT guides and we were shown around by Magnus. He was great, kept asking the kids (15-year-olds) questions, entertaining them with anecdotes though still highlighting the serious historical stuff whenever he thought fit. One of the best guides ever! We'll definitely... More

We had a tour around Oxford with Jeff. He spent nearly 2.5 hours taking us around the sights and we felt we knew a lot more about the place by the end of it. He took us to Balliol College, the Bodleian Library, the University Church of St Mary the Virgin and several other interesting places and had so many... More

I recently joined the student walking tour with Luke, an Oxford graduate. He gave an amusing & highly informative tour & made everyone feel welcome. I would recommend this tour as a great introduction to the many charms of Oxford University

Highlight of my trip to England visiting from Australia. Jeff was just fantastic, passionate, engaging and made the tour come to life. I thought it was for and hour and two and a half hours later he was still entertaining us - he offered people the chance to leave throughout but we hung on his every word. Jeff is a... More

My wife and I were on a short visit to Oxford this week and were looking for some background information on Oxford's history and on the University and how it works. There are several walking tours available but we took this one as it was a bit quicker and a lower cost than the others and also some of the... More

We saw the tour advertised and it didn't disappoint. Magnus was a pleasant guide, and most informative. It was good to see inside the Colleges, and hear about their history. Some great views of the chapels and dining halls, and interesting stories - such as the spot where C.S.Lewis probably thought up some of his stories. A really worthwhile trip.

My parents and I had a wonderful tour with Jeff, an engaging and informative guide who is also a great storyteller about the history of Oxford. Our tour was at the end of the day, which added a bit more energy as we raced to access certain locations before admission closed. Overall, however, we spent nearly 2.5 hours together -... More
