This is one of the modern colleges 15 minutes walk north from the city centre along the Woodstock road. They have a good lecture theatre and conference participants can stay in the college. The rooms are adequate but are small and in great need of refurbishment and modernisation. Staying in the college whilst at the conference worked well. The staff... More

I was there for a conference and the room was very basic which you expect when staying in student accommodation. But some of the basics weren't good enough. Mine was a ground floor room with no way of securing an open window so it had to be left closed for security which was horrible during warm weather. The bathroom was... More

This college has some of the friendliest people and staff of them all. The porters are jolly and helpful, and the students are lovely. The library was being worked on when I visited, so there was construction, but the new building looks like it will be magnificent. The other buildings are an interesting mix of very modern and old world... More

The best Oxford college by a mile. Beautiful location, modern guest rooms, lush landscaped gardens, and excellent food. If you're looking for a traditional Oxford college, then this offers to compromise the ancient with the modern. 5-10 minute walk from Carfax (city centre), and conveniently located in between Oxford University Parks and the suburbs of Summertown and Jericho.

My son stayed here 5 nights on a maths week & really enjoyed himself. Rooms are very basic but the staff were really helpful. Food was nice & staff organised a trip down the River Thames.

Not the best to see I the city. I stayed in the dorms, clean and tidy, but not enough toiletries and towels, the milk in the coffee corner was bad!

St Anne's College is on the north side of the city and does not look at all like the "tradition" Oxford Colleges. Its buildings are a mixture of modern glass structures and brutalist grey concrete ones. This college is among the least attractive of the Oxford colleges.

As this is a modern college there's not much to see although the buildings are quite interesting in design. this was a women's college until relatively recently..
