A beautiful College but even more impressive is the 17th Century Dinning Hall. A must see for anyone visiting.

Great architecture and a wonderful chapel make this college, albeit one of the smaller ones, a must see for your Oxford stay. It is the Oxford of Morse if you're a fan and we had an excellent visit on a sunny day.

Founded in 1314 by the Bishop of Exeter, Exetr college is forward thinking. It is one of the only Oxford Colleges to offer internships and have a career office. The Quads and chapel are lovely. William Morris and Richard Burton matriculated here.

Lovely door keeper allowed us in despite filming going on, we couldn't see the hall but the chapel is wonderful. Amazing stained glass telling stories reminding me of Sainte Chapelle in Paris also a wonderful Pre Raphellite tapestry.

The evening recitals are fantastic - in the setting of its stunning chapel, its a thoroughly Oxford experience. Of course, its also the scene of many a Morse episode, one infamous scene in particlue, so worht a visit if you're a fan.

Oxford in general is a fascinating place to visit for its architecture: it is like a museum with a lot of other museums inside. The university is central to all Oxfordian things, and in particular, the colleges are gems of this crown that is Oxford....More
