I used to drink here when I was younger and had fond memories of an inviting pub, which weren't disappointed. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere warm, and there is a good range of well-kept beers on offer. The prices are as high as any...More

Visited with the family and the dog for lunch during a long walk around the city. Very welcoming, we found a big table and set about the menu. Typical pub grub offering and reasonably priced. After deliberation we all ended up choosing the house burger....More

Visited this pub for lunch with baby granddaughter and pet dog. We were all made very welcome and the food was great! They even provide treats for the dog. If you want a friendly, relaxed pub in Oxford that is handy for the main shops...More

Had a quick walk around the Christmas market in Broad street and then felt a bit thirsty, all the tables seem full but it’s one of those pubs which seems endless and has a few nooks and crannies. Having smelled the food a drink wasn’t...More

It took an age for our order to arrive. Other diners who ordered after we did seemed to be served sooner. The place wasn’t busy. When it did arrive the server seemed uninterested to hear that my wife received items she hadn’t ordered - he...More

I asked the bar attendent for his advice and he recommended the fish and chips. He was right - it was very good. This is a reasonably-priced good pub in a great location. Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed but civilised.

We went again to the Kings Arms. We booked and got a great table by the bar. They were very welcoming of our puppy dog. The food (sandwich, jacket potato, burger and side of chips) was unfaultable. Great service, great value for money, great range...More

Absolutely - plenty of space & the staff make a real fuss of them. Dog water bowls & treats available from behind the bar when you order your drinks. Haven't come across a more dog friendly pub.
