Our tour Guide Ancke gave a pre tour briefing for safety issues She was very knowledgeable about the whole production process She engaged very well with the group, (she told me that she was a teacher) I cannot speak too highly of the professional way the tour was organised. I really enjoyed the experience and it was a celebration of... More

Well organised tour of the Cowley Mini Plant. Escorted around in a small group accompanied by a very pleasant South African Guide. We were all given Hi-Viz vests to wear and a small Audio Earpiece to enable us all to hear her commentary as we visited various stages of Assembly. There were numerous questions asked and she was able to... More

The tour takes around 2 hours and show us the real working condition there. That is fascinating. So many advanced robotics and staffs that cooperate with robotics. I really enjoy the tour and like the mini plant.

The last time I saw motor vehicles being built was on a school trip to the Ford factory in Dagenham in 1967 with Mk2 Cortinas being made. How things have changed in 50 years though. Where once there were armies of people working on the production line doing menial jobs, now there are robots everywhere with humans just making sure... More

We've recently brought a new Mini and decided to go on the Mini Factory tour, we were not disappointed. Out tour guide Dave was knowledgable and gave us interesting facts about the entire build process and the history of the Cowley plant. The tour lasted approximatly 2 hours with a fair amount of walking. The visitor centre is easy to... More

We saw the leaflet for this when ordering the wife's new mini at the dealership, unfortunately we couldn't get booked in in time to see her car being built but when we did manage to book up it was well worth the wait. Tony, our tour guide and 40 year veteran of the plant, was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about... More

Fantastic Tour, my only criticism is that I would have liked to spend more time looking at all the goings on. But the tour was for 2:15 mins and that is what it took, so no issue really. I would recommend this to everyone - technical of otherwise. It is just so interesting.

Delighted to share that this mini plant tour in Oxford is well worth a visit. The price is very reasonable and you get 2 & 1/2 hours of mini awesomeness, knowledge, history and wit! Our Tour Guide Leonel Rojas was top notch. He was extremely knowledgeable and amusing. I loved the ear pieces so the whole group could hear everything... More

Having worked in the car industry many years ago, the difference between the labour intensive and dirty environment that I knew, compared with the almost clinical environment that I experienced on my trip was incredible. Watching the circa 1000 robots (supported by just 90 people) assembling the wide range and variation of mini models was a feast of the intelligent... More

The body shop hums with robots all working away with only 3 humans in sight! It was a really interesting 1.5 hours tour. Minimum age is 14 or we would have gone last year. We all enjoyed it from 82 to 14 years old!
