Really enjoyable panto, all the cast were great, particularly in the major roles, evil Queen, Justin Fletcher great, star of the show was Dame Dolly Mixture (if I've got the character name right!). The improvisation was hilarious at times, and there was great chemistry between him and Justin. My only critique would be the 7 dwarves, in that having dwarf... More

Here on New Years Eve to see Snow White. Had a great family time, really well done & a nice venue. My only concern is that children even with a booster seat ( £2) needed from some seats it was still very difficult to see the stage so thought needed as to where you book your seats.

I have visited this theatre on multiple occasions over the years, for a number of different types of shows, plays and concerts. Although it is starting to look a bit tired, the facilities are very good and the location is excellent with a number of car parks and good eateries in close proximity. The “recent” refurbishment and enlargement of the... More

We visited for the Snow White Panto with Justin as the Jester. We went with 4 young children and lots of adults and everyone had a great time. The only thing I would say is that it would have been nice for the children to have the opportunity to meet some of the cast... it wouldn't take much after the... More

Whoever designed this theatre must have had it in for disabled theatre goers. There are steps everywhere. There is a ramp that will get you into the theatre but once there the lift only covers two of the three floors. Both the circles and stalls have a substantial set of stairs to negotiate and there is no lift to the... More

Probably the best panto I've ever been to. Venue is lovely - cosy and comfy. And enough toilets to cater for a lot of young children. Car parking nearby or walking distance from the rail station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Considering I've lived only a 40 minute drive from Reading all of my 46 years this was my 1st visit. It's a deceiving structure and whilst the outside architecture bodes for a cold unwelcoming greeting I was pleasantly surprised. Inside whilst a little tired (but then what theatres aren't now a days?) it was very clean as were the toilets.... More

The theatre has good car access and easy parking, with plenty of multi-storeys nearby - we used Chatham Street, which was a bit cheaper and very well-maintained. We were pleased we hadn't relied on the theatre café for lunch, as the place was packed out and very noisy, with a very limited range of food. There are plenty of eateries... More

Good location, we have been a few times now. Parking isn't great nearby but the new Chatham Street car park a 5min walk away is excellent. 20% discount if pre booking and attend the Hexagon Theatre.
