Travelled from Southampton to see Jake Bugg on a Friday evening, a short walk from the train station, the theatre was situated immediately behind the hotel we were staying at. The evening itself was excellent and we were impressed with the theatre itself. Staff were...More

We came to see OMD. The venue is well suited for this with great sounds, and lights. As standing punters we bypassed the queues others had to be part of. This gave us time in their bar/reception area before the show started. I'm pleased to...More

It was my first visit and I wasn't exactly impressed by the boxy, corrugated building. However, inside it was spacious with a long bar, a separate coffee/confectionery/ice cream stand and a dedicated gin bar. The prices weren't extortionate either. The most impressive thing about the...More

The theatre has a great atmosphere although a little tired looking in places. Cox was full of boggling facts about infinity and beyond, lexturing on the basic principles of modern Cosmology with occasional quite hilarious interruptions by Robin Ince.

Good theatre for concerts - plenty of parking beside it and getting in and out was easy. Theatre has good bars and coffee shops and clean bathrooms. Seating is comfortable and good views from everywhere. Imelda May and her band were fantastic - a truly...More
