If you are walking around central Reading you may spot ths statue outside the Town Hall. It is not special and so easy to miss. For great monuments head about 150m East toward Forbury Gardens.

This is a very beautiful statue of Queen Victoria in the town centre. If you pass by, there is a place to sit near the statue.

The best statue of queen Vic in reading. It's grey and looks like queen Victoria. it's like a person but made of stone! it doesn't move in the wind. It's also not very chatty. Sometimes there are pigeons on it. I had the best time

There is a statue of Queen Victoria in Reading Town Centre. It looks like her. If you have children ask them why you think it is there.

Bringing her up to date I tried the Mannequin Challenge. She was a Statue. Can someone just give her face a tidy. Not sure what she thinks of us all running around after bargains for Christmas.

Looking a bit dour, but then it has been stood there a while, and Victoria wasn't known for her smile. Worth a look if you're passing, maybe combine it with a trip to the museum.

Queen Victoria was until recently our longest reigning Monarch. This statue was erected to celebrate 50 years of her reign. That was almost 130 years ago on June 20 1887. Over time it has become stained and a little damaged. Queen Victoria certainly looks far...More
