Beale Park Wildlife Park & Gardens was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered animals and birds. Not only is Beale Park a charity, the Park is a great place to be with fun, adventure, gardens, amazing animals and birds and play parks - there's even a splash pool and miniature train!

Such good value for money lots to look at and do for children of all ages. Terrific value for money 😁. Priced at a rate that families can go without breaking the bank.

Love this park, myself and my grandson are annual members so we go a lot. When it's summer there is plenty of water play and great park area, food is lovely and well priced. The gardens are immaculate and the animals are varied and obviously well cared for. Plenty to see in the other seasons too. We love the train... More

We use Beale park as a reward to the Grandchildren if they have been good. Entry fee compared to other attractions is very reasonable with loads of play areas for the little ones to let of steam. Good restaurant but does get very busy. Loads of picnic areas if that's what you want. Lovely grounds. Staff very friendly. Don't expect... More

Beale Park was much enjoyed by my wife and I with our 2 young grandchildren. The train ride was fun and if you took the trouble to walk the whole park, there is much to entertain the young and older! Very good value for money and highly recommended for a day out.

Lots of animals, birds, model ships and aeroplanes, metal sculptures and a small narrow gauge railway as well as a large children's play area with cafe. What more could you want. There is something for every age. For groups, there are also education rooms, so that people can learn about the natural world. It's conservation, charity, a trust and appears... More

Off-peak pricing is for a reason. Hardly any of the animals were visible. There was scaffolding, smashed windows and general untidiness everywhere. This place might look great on a hot summers day when everything is open and in full swing. It looked very tired and in need of a good refurb. Toilets were dirty and the nappy bin over spilling.... We traveled to Beale Park by train, and then walked to the park (about a twenty minute walk or more). Pangbourne (the small village at which the train station is) is a quaint little village to visit too. Anyway the park is pretty big, and it's a good day trip. I fell in love with the meerkats and their busy... More

Brought our grandchildren on a sunny but chilly Sunday morning and we all enjoyed the animals ,train ride and play parks. Would love to return in summer with a picnic as there is lots for us to explore. Definitely a fun day out.

Absolutely fantastic place for children,so much to see and do for them, nice cafeteria on site, but expensive.Good picnic areas to take your own. Miniature railway ride was included, when we visited in August 2016. Shallow swimming come paddling pool, for children. To much to mention really. Very large free car park, but get there early,so you do not have to walk far to entrance,and... More
