Visited today with 4 young children. We had a great day. There were lots of activities, stalls selling things and hot food. The woods are beautiful and an absolute hidden gem. We were so impressed with the efforts of rangers and other staff we joined...More

Discovering Sheffields woodlands changed my view of the city many years ago. Ecclesall woods remain a favourite. The woods are large enough for you to find solitude but with well marked paths. The woods this month are full of Bluebells and an ever growing verdant...More

David and Iain were the course tutors - knowledgeable, skilled, plainly experienced, inspirational, relaxed, humourous, patient and approachable. Two items made at a relaxed pace. This course is...More

You must visit! There are multiple trails, all of which are clearly marked and signed so you won't get lost. Some people go running, others stroll and many are armed with bikes or prams. There's something for everyone.

Plenty of interesting things to see on the walk, and came across a little cafe with outdoor & indoor seating, which would be lovely in summer. . Information leaflets . Free car parking.
