Visited here for the first time in 30 years!! The grounds are as well kept as i remember them. Nice and peaceful. Im glad that they have done something with the old buildings that were almost derelict and in need of tlc all those years ago. Much smarter looking now. Plenty of room for the kids to run about in.... More

Me and my girlfriend love this place. It is perfect for couples who love the outdoors. The gardens are beautiful with a very peaceful atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Such a gem in the heart of Sheffield. The greenhouses are pretty awesome but the gardens themselves are well planned and kept- definitely worth a visit if you're into plants!

What alarmed us most is the fact the local girls high school (just off Clarkehouse Road) sometimes take PE lessons and run round the gardens. Not a problem with that.. the problem we have is TWO perverted men today (one in particular... More

The indoor greenhouses are kept really well even through winter. We had our engagement photo shoot in the greenhouses. It is relaxing. The cafe is also nice. Really nice public space, good for picnics and relaxing.

We had our wedding in the botanical gardens and it was a magical experience. It was great to be in with the tropical plants and the water feature for the ceremony. The grounds are always immaculately clean all through the year with seasonal plants and flowers always in blood.

The grounds of the Botanical are well worth a visit. The gardens are beautifully kept but a bit bleak in February but would be colourful on summer. Staff polite but please sort the teashop out. A 10-15 minute wait just to order a coffee (with only 2 in the queue in front of me) and then another 15-20 minutes wait before... More
