I own a narrowboat hire business just down the canal from these guys and have worked with them for about 10 years. Their boat, built by one of the renowned shipbuilders is superb, their on board food is basic, but freshly prepared and cooked in one of the cleanest galleys you'll find. I know, I've seen it! They also went... More

When my mum first found this for my 21st Birthday party, I wasn't very keen but my mum convinced me that it sounded very good and different. 13 years later we are still going, it is lovely relaxing atmosphere just sit back as you drift along having a leisurely meal (starters and mains) until you get to Tinsley locks ,... There was a group of approximately 30 on a retirement celebration which was very enjoyable the food was good and the menu was typical 70s food .the atmosphere was good and the river trip enjoyable . The timing of the meal allowed people to table hop and mix. I would recommend this trip to anyone although it is probably better... More

We (around 30 of us) as part of a retirement do arranged a cruise with a 3 course dinner, costing £35 each. The cruise experience was nice and the boat was pleasant inside and out. However, the food was utterly dreadful, dry and bland, with a menu originating in the 1970s. Our host for the evening was initially polite and... More

Sheffield was a town of heavy industry. It was said to be an ugly picture in a beautiful frame. And, how true that was. All around Sheffield is the Green belt and the Peak District is a delight still. The city was never a place to visit as a tourist. The canal was a working canal with factories over shadowing... I was travelling with my disabled Mother who is a wheelchair user. Not a problem for this trip however as they have a lift to get the chair on and off. Book ahead though to ensure you are guaranteed a table The guide was well informed although she also doubles up as waitress and bar-women so everything seems a little... More

Booked the 4 hour disco cruise for my hen party for 20 of us. We all had an absolutely amazing night. We started off with the bbq buffet at the wine bar and boarded the boat at 7. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entire night and we will definitely book again for large gatherings. If your looking for something a bit... More

Thank you for a memorable hen night. I was a bit unsure when I first booked I thought 3 hours on a boat was a long time, but I couldn’t believe how fast the time went, everyone had a brilliant evening and we could have easily done another 3 hours. There was 41 Seated initially whilst we had our pie... More

Booked for a 10th wedding anniversary. Everyone loved it! Was a nice event to get everyone together. Bar on boat so can have a drink while on board. Owners are lovely people, willing to do anything to cater for your occasion. All the family enjoyed the day
