We came here to see the iron bridge which crosses the river severn near telford. you can walk along the river and take in the scenery of the iron bridge and the iron bridge power station close by. Beautiful and peacful walk with plenty of scenery. Dont forget your camera

We were able to follow the river through much of Shropshire, from the industrial parts to the Park areas. It helps define the geography and transport structures of the county. This is the largest natural phenomenon in the UK. The locals ignore it but people come from Australia to see and hopefully surf it. Tidal bore up to 2m high, races up river scouring banks. Glad to say I have always lived local to this great river . So fascinating when in flood and so calm and relaxing to sit by with a loved one :) sonya turner and I love it
