I visited the church as I'd heard it was an unusual shape (circular!). The architect is certainly unique and I found the grave of Ebenezer Scrooge (from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens) in the graveyard! ;-)

This is an amazing building with a very unusual circular nave, and where Charles Darwin was baptised. The first Church on the site was founded by Offa (of the famous dyke) in 780 AD. It is huge, in fact the largest indoor venue in Shrewsbury....More

One of only a few round churches in the U.K, it’s worth a look round for that alone. It’s a very light airy building with a lot of history and a very unusual pulpit

We were lucky to have the church to ourselves one Saturday afternoon. It's so beautiful inside, serene and light and airy. We're not used to seeing churches in this style. It's a fabulous building.

We visited Percy Throwers house and gardens and this church is opposite so we called in such a beautiful church again with it round tower etc ,very pleasant to visit but be careful it's not always open we stumbled on it on the off chance...More
