We visit often as we live close by. The walks are great although popular so busy at times. Dogs are very welcome and when the Paddock is open in winter it is a doggy delight. Access to outdoor tearoom tables is superb. Great for geocaching too - including a cache hidden up a tree. Family fun.

As a National Trust member on a break to Shrewsbury we had to visit and what a joy, all the staff in period costume, kitchen fire going and the maids cooking. A really good day out. Well done Attingham Park.

We were surprised to find so many cars in the car park at 10-30 in the morning. The .entrance is undergoing extension so at first impression a bit odd but the staff were so cheerful that it dispelled any worries of chaos. Speaking to a cleaning lady out the house found out so much information about the former family and... More

A sunny March Saturday lunchtime, would you not think that an organisation so experienced as the National Trust, would be suitably prepared for an influx of visitors seeking sustenance at lunch time. We arrived at 1.30pm and the new stable courtyard was heaving. Sandwiches were a scarce commodity and when you secured one it was a disappointment, cheese, ham salad... More

Visited today with a friend. Had a guided tour of the east side of the property. The tour was very interesting and I would recommend before you go round the house at your leisure. We both had a lovely jacket potato and cheese in the Mansion tearooms and a cuppa each. Prices very reasonable at £13.50 for our meals and... More

A lot of work going on at the moment new Reception etc. Very large grounds with Deer Park and Woodland walks. The House is spectacular, wonderful furniture and you really need to look up at the ceilings which are beautiful. It was very busy there probably because it was a Saturday. We had lunch there, we just had a sandwich... More

We didn't go round the house, but had a fantastic walk around the Deer Park and estate. The facilities aren't great yet, but the National Trust has started a good deal of work to improve the visitor experience. I was just happy enjoying the wonderful landscape in a vast park. The Café (but this was mid March) was very basic... More

This NT property has 2 mobility scooters for visitors' use and several accessible walks. Avoid the weekends when the park is quite busy. There are 2 accessible toilets and the cafe is also accessible (delicious soup). We've never been in the house as we just love to go around the deer park and the walled garden. Venison for sale here... More

Decided to go here to see the house and to take the dogs for a walk. Lovely walk with good paths and a good amount of parking. Refreshments are on offer but are quite pricey and not the greatest but the main reason I've only given this 3 stars is the price of parking/entrance. If you are a national trust... More
