My friend and I anticipated a picturesque walk around this reservoir, but what we got was a short amble through tall grasses, along badly signed paths, with not one sight of said Lake, and the route was inland. We learned later, that you can't actually...More

Well done Bristol Water - this may well be an important place to store water but it is beautiful and so well kept. Cleverly zoned so everyone - including nature has a place

What a stunning location for walking and bird spotting. The light is superb for photography, especially at evening or dawn.

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday, and even though it was busy there was still room to park, and room to enjoy yourself. The views across the lake are stunning, a great place to walk with your camera.

Found the lake while driving around the area. Parking £2 all day. Seemed very busy. Had a great walk around part of the lake and an ice cream. Yes, there were midges, but if you leave them alone they seemed to leave me alone! Can...More
