Historic building housing an interesting, free albeit small permanent collection. The exhibition of recent local art required a paid ticket and was not worth the admission charge to see.

Well worth a diversion: a lovely relatively small scale gallery but with an interesting range of pictures, drawing and prints upstairs. Don't miss the drawers! Topical / local exhibitions downstairs.
