This is a must if you visit Bath. Not too expensive and takes nearly 2 hours to go round. Plenty of information on the headsets to keep you interested throughout.

The Roman Baths are an excellent visit. Presented in an interesting and exciting way. Real sense of place and history. Section on the Temple is superbly done. Loved the lighting on the Gorgon. Takes a couple of hours. Recorded guide is very well done. Watch out for the uneven surface around the Great Bath. Excavation of the temple is presented... More

Really interesting few hours learning about the history of the Roman Baths. The hand held tour guide phone type gadget is a decent touch so that you can wander, listen and learn at your own pace.

Visited the site in September 2016. I always wanted to visit the site as i have a keen interest in historic sites . Having seen numerous tv programmes and reports I thought it would be great but maybe over hyped a tad. But no! It's truly a gem with loads to see behind the scenes and within the complex. Living... Seeing the main bath area was good - but this is a hyped tourist attraction. Okay if you are willing to listen to the audio (which we did) but not much to listen to.

'A' class attraction. We spent a good 2.5 hours just drinking in the history of the place and also the water at the end. So interesting imagining what it must have been like 2 millenia ago. Big thanks to the Victorians and more recent dedicated people who helped preserve such a unique part of ancient history. Well enjoyed !

An interesting place to visit. Packed with information. Tried the natural spring water - a strange experience! Would be an ideal trip for historians, school children and geologists alike.

Really interesting place to visit , so much history here , , staff were very knowledgeable and polite , can get very busy at weekends though so choose your time carefully, could be expensive if you're a family, even so well worth visiting .

These Roman baths have been partially and lovingly renovated and pieces of masonry and artefacts skilfully displayed with an excellent audio-commentary accompanying the self-guided tour. Everything is well explained and additional information is available for those with added interests. This is definitely a "must see" place to visit in Bath.

Its not only the Baths but an interesting museum as well and it makes you wonder how in someways the Romans were so civilised two thousand years ago and on the other hand could be so cruel in other ways. It is all very well organised and we enjoyed our visit. There is also a good shop for the inevitable... More
