I relatively small museum with some lovely exhibits, and a good tearoom. Well worth a visit, and near city centre.

We visited the cafe here after a pleasant walk in Sydney Gardens. Service was great - both quick and friendly. Prices were good and it was lovely to sit in the sun and enjoy the tranquility. Definitely worth a visit.

A nice museum to spend some time, especially art fans and moreover Gainsborough admirers. For me not a must see in Bath but still worth visiting.

We have been to Bath many times, but have never been here before. Wow, really great museum, the original building was derelict and the current one is now fantastic, a new modern build intermingled into a traditional Bath sandstone great house...wonderful The exhibits are very...More

The Holburne has a small but very high quality collection available. It is easy walking distance from Pulteney Bridge. They have a cafe on the back of the museum which is of very good quality.

Browsed the various rooms on a sunny afternoon visit. Plenty of spaces to wander through, quiet corners and at the time of our visit some beautiful silverware and a modern dining table set for four with cutlery, crockery and glassware that were out of this...More

It looks as though your question has been answered. We are only ever in Bath from Monday to Friday (never at the weekend)

Quite near - about a mile. Not a difficult walk and there's plenty to see along the way. Or you can take one of the University buses (during term time) from the bus station, near the railway station, as far as St Mary's... More
