excellent museum in a great setting

We came specifically for the Bruegel exhibition, but were very pleasantly surprised by the entire building including the modern rear extension. A venue well worth visiting in Bath.

The museum is housed in an impressive building a short walk from the centre of... More

Didn't go into the free Breugel exhibition, not enough time, but the indoor and outdoor seating and food at their cafe was very good and VERY popular.

Went for lunch at the cafe before visiting the Bruegal exhibition but was so wound up by the poor service and quality of food that we decided not to go to the exhibition that we thought was overpriced at £10 in any case.

Brilliant. Free, but does ask for a donation and well worth a visit if your here. Beautiful gardens and staff who know a lot about what they have on view. So glad we got told about this place and the history and art work at extraordinary.

Set in a gracious park, this Museum brings us face to face with some of the people and treasures that were the height of fashion in eighteenth century Bath. With a tea-room terrace that enjoys the indoor and outdoor setting.

£10 per adult for the exhibition. It is well laid out and explains the family tree really well. But for £10 I had expected more paintings by Bruegel the elder himself. What is there is good, but it is in a small space and there is not enough to justify £10 entry. If it had been say £5 I would... More

This would probably not feature on the must see list of Bath but is an interesting display even for the non artistic.

excellent small museum and art gallery showing Brugel and school of paintings including some from Peter the Elder. Rest of gallery well worth a visit too. Welcoming ticket staff.
