If you are going to Bath you want to walk through the Circus. I wasn't overly thrilled with it, but did appreciate its role in Bath's history and enjoyed the architecture. It's a nice walk as a whole and you can duck into a few side streets to explore even further.

It's a very beautiful well maintained area of town houses arranged in a circular pattern with a very beautiful large grassed area in the middle of which large trees set the scene. The architecture is charming, all the houses are identical with iron railings and garden areas either at the doors , flowering over the sides or planted and growing... More

If you are in any doubt just google the menu and be impressed by the creative and imaginative dishes that are served here. Prices are appropriate and very good value for what is top class food, and our best meal in Bath. Ambience and service are excellent. On the night we had rump of Wiltshire lamb (the best I have... My family just loved Bath. We didn't expect it to be so wonderful. The Circus was just one example of a unique structure in an ancient town. Relaxing, so much less stress free compared to London. Fantastic city/

The Circus is part of your tour of Bath on foot and is close to the Royal Crescent. Is a circle of townhouses from Jane Austen's hey day. Impressive and worth the stroll.

The Circus is 18th century Georgian architecture at its best, townhouses in a circle built of Bathstone, the local tannish stone. Easy walk from central Bath. Lovely green space in the middle.

well worth a walk round looking at the detailed and beautiful carvings that go around the Circus. Such style and elegance that still appeals after a few centuries.

The Circus, as the Royal crescent, is a beautiful architecture example. It's obvious there is nothing else to do apart from making some pictures but I really liked it, it was interesting and different from the usual squares.

We visited this on our way to the royal crescent. There is a small bit of grass land in the centre and some benches so that you can sit and enjoy the view should you wish.

Stand in the middle and appreciate its glory. So beautifully designed - only a short walk from the centre and the royal crescent too Must see!
