Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, the multi-sensory Wellness Suite and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

We visited in early may - staff friendly and helpful - changing rooms clean and plenty of lockers . Useful to get flip flops and dressing gown provided. Steam rooms have been renovated and are much improved, really steamy , not sure about the sensory planet room - bit 80's night club! The highlight was the roof top pool where... More

My boyfriend and I spent a few hours here while on a short getaway to Bath. For the most part I was impressed... the atmosphere is inviting and it feels very clean. We had a couples massage in the spa which was very good. On Level 2 in the Wellness Centre there appears to be a shortage of hooks to... More

Not sure what the hype is having been to sulphur springs in Colorado and jimjabam in Korea... this place was an ultimate disappointment. There is nothing therapeutic about the water, the water temperatures, or the chlorine. If you like boring around in a pool of 200+ strangers with varying degrees of public bathing decorum then this is for you. Be... More

We came here on a hen do and I have to say it was wonderful. Only draw back is the queue as large groups can not book. Get there early!!!

I have to admit I was quite disappointed with the spa. I'll start with the good points- it seems clean and it has the facilities of what I would see as an "average" spa and the staff were friendly. But here is what I didn't expect- It's busy, even on week days. We went on a Monday and both the... More

Our daughter gave us a Twilight Package voucher as a Christmas present. We decided to keep it and use it for our Wedding Anniversary which was last week. No queue on entering once we arrived and check in was quick and efficient. Very busy considering it being a weekday. After making full use of the rooftop pool, indoor pool and... More

We had a lovely visit to the Thermae Bath Spa. We lefted very relaxed and enjoyed our visit. The rooftop spa is beautiful with the views over Bath. You are provided with a robe, flip flops and a towel. The spa is kept very clean. The wellness suit is fab, I would highly recommend especially the ice room. (No photos... More

Loved the entire experience. The roof top pool, even on a grey day was stunning. Loved the other pool too. We got a massage and facial as well which I would really recommend. Would return definitely.

Nice spa. Overrated slightly. The queues are mental. Very busy. Got rid of the hangover. We got queue jump as we booked a treatment. The treatment wasn't available so we were given a refund and kindly allowed queue jump. More like a posh leisure centre than anything else.
